GEJ to Handover to GMB on May 28 instead of May 29

President Goodluck Jonathan will hand over power to the President-elect , Maj. General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on May 28 about 24 hours earlier to the actual inauguration date.
Patricia Akwashiki, The Minister of Information disclosed this to the state house correspondents at the end of the Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja on Wednesday, According to the Press Briefing, The President will carry on the Handover at a dinner on the eve of may 29 Democracy day.
As of the Now, No statement has been issues as to the reason for this unusual gesture by the GEJ Administration.
In the same spirit, the President has urged all MDAs to present their handover notes to the Office of the Secretary General before Monday 20th April.
