First, The Elections, the incumbent administration being voted out of power, the incessant dismissal and appointment of Political appointees, the financial scandals, the National debt the country has been plunged into.
And now, The Fuel scarcity has taken a new dimension, Banks, Telecommunication companies, Aviation companies, Government offices, and in fact all sectors of the economy are shutting down. The Telecommunication companies and banks are already sending out text messages to their customers informing them of early foreclosure, as a result of power outage.
The Power supply of the entire country has witness its lowest plunge in decades, transportation has crumbled, the cost of living has increased.
salaries are unpaid and the people are generally disillusioned by the state of the country. sooner or later, The prophecies of the apocalypse will start rolling out, and i feel partisan to such prophecies because this is a calamity that has befallen us in day light.
We have to understand that the incoming administration cannot under any circumstance solve these problems, for the obvious reason that they in themselves are part of the problems, their tenure of administration is insufficient to solve the problem of Nigeria, not to mention that the democracy itself need to be re-engineered in order to solve these problems. Too much power in the hands of few individuals have led us all to this economic standstill, for instance Mr Ifeanyi Uba of Capital Oil has come out boldly to declare that he will supply 13 million metric tonnes of PMS at the approved pump price to the Market, the question then is, if a single individual can act in the patriotic manner of aiding the end of this scarcity as such, can he not in like manner instigate a reverse?
The country belongs to the youths, and until the youths create a demand and decree an end to this mobocracy, there will be revolution.
